Girls take distinctions as BIEK announces intermediate results

28,259 candidates registered for the exams, with 27,323 appearing

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results for the 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-II Science Pre-Medical Group annual examinations.

The results highlighted the remarkable achievements of Karachi’s students, with female candidates dominating the top ranks. According to BIEK Chairman Faqeer Muhammad Lakho, the top three positions in the Pre-Medical Group were secured by female students.

Fatima Siddiqui, daughter of Muhammad Khalid, clinched the first position, followed by Munza Khan, daughter of Mubashir Hassan, in second, and Anusha Naveed, daughter of Naveed Sarwar, in third. Their stellar performances have set a new benchmark for academic excellence.

Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid revealed that 28,259 candidates registered for the exams, with 27,323 appearing. Of these, 15,572 students passed, achieving a pass percentage of 56.99%. Among the successful candidates, 1,998 earned A1 grades, 3,471 secured A grades, 4,070 achieved B grades, 4,095 obtained C grades, 1,878 received D grades, and 60 passed with E grades.

The results are now available on the official BIEK website, where students can check their scores.
