ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former foreign minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting with Ricky Gill, Senior Director for South and Central Asia at the United States National Security Council (NSC), at Zardari House in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto and Ricky Gill discussed regional security, trade and diplomatic cooperation, as well as the promotion of bilateral relations.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the US President played a significant role e in the Pakistan-India ceasefire. President Trump's efforts for peace should be acknowledged, and he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan wishes to enhance trade cooperation with the international community.
The PPP chairman also welcomed the recent trade agreements between Pakistan and the United States. The Senior Director of the US National Security Council expressed good wishes for Bilawal Bhutto.
