KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and there can be no compromise on it, Dunya News reported.
Speaking on the floor of the Sindh Assembly, Murad Ali Shah reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the people of India Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Murad Ali Shah said that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their Kashmiri brethren, particularly in their struggle for self-determination.
He said that Pakistan forced India into a ceasefire within a few hours in the recent Pakistan-India war. He expressed the hope that India will learn a lesson from the defeats at the hand of Pakistan.
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon while speeking on the occasion said that on August 5, 2019, India had revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir in blatant disregard of United Nations resolutions
He said that people of Kashmir must be granted their legitimate rights, including the right to live in accordance with their own will. Kashmiris must be granted their right to self-determination as per UN resolutions, he said.
