PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A sudden cloudburst and landslide on the road leading to Lake Saif-ul-Malook near Naran area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa left over 500 tourists and 117 vehicles stranded on Friday.
According to KP's Tourism Secretary Dr. Abdul Samad Khan, rescue teams worked around the clock and successfully pulled all trapped tourists to safety after an hours-long effort.
He confirmed that traffic has been restored and all tourists were rescued without harm. “We threw everything we had into this operation to make sure everyone made it out safe,” he said.
