Saudi Ambassador calls on President Zardari to discuss trade, economy and culture

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present during the meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties, with a special focus on trade, economy, and culture.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present during the meeting. The leaders exchanged views on boosting cooperation and taking Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations to the next level.

President Zardari said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share strong ties based on a common faith and mutual trust. He welcomed Saudi investment in Pakistan, noting that the country offers a business-friendly environment.

He emphasised that both nations see eye to eye on many global issues and appreciated Saudi Arabia's continuous support during tough times.

Zardari also extended warm wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, referring to them as true friends of Pakistan.
