ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, has announced that the judiciary is considering the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the legal system.

Speaking at a ceremony, Chief Justice Afridi emphasised the importance of the National Judicial Policy and shared that efforts are underway to reform the judicial system across the country.

He noted that judicial officers are receiving specialised training at the Judicial Academy.

The top judge revealed ongoing work on establishing Model Criminal Trial Courts aimed at ensuring timely case resolutions. “Top legal experts are hearing cases daily, and we're exploring the idea of operating courts in two shifts,” he added.
