KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have killed two suspected robbers in an ‘encounter’ in Lyari, Dunya News reported here on Saturday.
The eliminated alleged robbers could not be identified till filing of this report. Police said on information about the presence of the robbers a raid was conducted to arrest them.
When police reached there, the outlaws opened fire on police team, which was retaliated in a befitting manner. As a result of this firing, the alleged robbers were killed.
Police claimed that the outlaws were involved in dozens of heinous crimes. Stolen valuables and weapons were seized from them. Further investigation was under way.
