The suspect is linked to international human smugglers racket
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has claimed to have arrested main accused in connection with 2024 Greek boat tragedy, which claimed several lives of those who wanted to go to Europe for making their livings.
According to Gujranwala FIA, the suspect identified as Usman Jaja is an operational manger of international human smugglers racket in Pakistan.
Fifteen cases have so far been registered against him. The federal agency will present him in a court on Tuesday (today).
The FIA said important information about international gang of human smugglers has been found from the accused’s mobile phone.
His brother Khurram Jaja is a main character of international human smugglers on Libya–Greek route.
Usman Jaja’s wife, brother-in-law and brother have been nominated in the FIRs registered against him. Legal proceeding has been launched to seal his properties and get Red Warrant for the arrest of his brother Khurram Jaja.
