LAHORE (Dunya News) – A maid is on the run after allegedly looting jewelry worth over Rs 0.25 million and torturing a three-month-old baby.
CCTV footage circulating online shows the suspect, Saima, placing a cloth over the baby’s mouth and physically assaulting the infant.
According to police sources, CCTV footage played a crucial role in exposing the crime. SP Cantt Awais Shafiq stated that the suspect had been employed at the house for three months. Upon receiving the report, a police team promptly arrived at the scene.
A case was registered immediately after Matloob Zafar filed a complaint against the accused.
SP Awais Shafiq confirmed that raids are underway to apprehend the suspect, assuring that those involved in violence against children will be dealt with sternly.
