LAHORE (Dunya News) - Model Town Organised Crime Unit on Thursday night claimed that a hardcore outlaw involved in 106 incidents of heinous crimes was killed allegedly in the firing of his own accomplices, Dunya News reported.

Police claimed the proclaimed offender identified as Sajid alias Chatta was killed in the firing of their accomplices.

He was taken for the recovery of illegal weapons and valuables when his accomplices hiding roadside ambushed the police party to get him freed.

The attackers fled after killing him in police custody. Police have launched a search operation for the arrest of the fleeing robbers.

HARDCORE BANDIT NABBED

In Chishtian, police on Thursday night claimed to have arrested a suspected hardcore robber in a crackdown on criminals, Dunya News reported.

According to police, the arrested robber had become a sign of terror in Chishtian. A police spokesman said a crackdown on outlaws will continue till their elimination.
