ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday gave some time to several political parties including the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) to submit annual statements.
The two-member commission headed by Sindh’s member of ECP Nisar Durani conducted the hearing.
Several political parties including Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, PTI-Nazriati, MWM and Balochistan Awami Party didn’t attend the hearing.
The hearing was attended by Sunni Ittehad Council, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Green Democratic Pakistan, Pak Defence Movement, Balochistan National Party (Mengal), Aam Admi Tehreek-e-Pakistan and others.
The two-member commission was told that the ECP may take back the election symbol in case of not submitting the annual statements.

The political parties requested to get some time to submit the annual statements.
The ECP awarded the political parties some more time to submit the annual statements.
The case was later adjourned for November 21 by the ECP.
