FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) Senator Talal Chaudhry said on Saturday that elections would be held in accordance with the constitution, not PTI's whims.
Speaking to journalists in Faisalabad, Chaudhry railed against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, saying that it was not paying heed to public issues. He eulogised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for bringing revolutionary projects including tractor scheme, low-cost housing and other projects for women.
Senator Chaudhry berated the government of KP for not fulfilling the promises despite being in power for eight months. He accused the KP government of using provincial resources to launch attacks on the federal government.
The PML-N leader blamed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for orchestrating false narratives, adding that PTI had declared 26th constitutional amendment a redline, yet it was passed. He further stated that the PTI had fallen prey to internal divisions, with Lahori and KP groups.
