RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said consultation was being held to select white-ball captain.
Naqvi stated this during a meeting with Pakistan team after a series win against England. He said the new captain will be best for the team.
While sharing his views on Pakistan’s series win, he said providing chance to new players brought victory for the team. He congratulated the players and management over convincing win.
“National cricket players earned victory by presenting a great game. Sajid Khan and Noman Ali did excellent bowling and Saud Shakeel showed good batting and scored a century," said PCB chairman.
He said the victory would raise the morale of the players. Young and emerging stars proved with their performance that their selection was a right decision, he said.
"Along with the players the nation was also waiting for such a convincing victory," Naqvi added.
