ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government has reduced the power tariff by Rs0.86 pin the electricity prices.
The Central Power Purchasing Agency CPPA has initially requested a reduction of Rs0.57 per unit.
The relief will be reflected in consumers’ electricity bills for October.
For those who have already recived their bills, the reduction will be adjusted in the November bills.

The price reduction will not apply to lifeline consumers, prepaid, K-electric users, or electric vehicle charging stations.
