LAHORE (Dunya News) - A man was killed and three were injured in firing near a filling station in Cantt here on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the firing was the result of personal vendetta as deceased’s niece had killed a man and injured his brother a few months ago. He is now in jail.
The deceased indentified as Rafiq Gujjar was attacked by four men riding two bikes.
In the firing, three rickshaw drivers were injured. Police were investigating and searching for the fleeing outlaws.
YOUNGSTER SHOT DEAD IN KARACHI
In Defence area of Karachi, a 30-year-old man was shot dead. The man identified as Umair was sitting in his car when two persons on a bike gunned down him and fled. On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation
POLICEMAN ARRESTED
In Larkana, a policeman was arrested for allegedly subjecting a 14-year-old boy to sexual assault in police lock-up.
According to Larkana SSP Mir Rohil, accused Arbab Sheikh was arrested for his crime. A case has been registered against the accused.
GANG OF ROBBERS BUSTED IN KASUR
Kasur police claimed to have busted a gang of robbers by arresting five of its members, who during investigation confessed to six robberies in different areas of the city.
Ringleader Zeeshan Masih was giving instruction to his accomplices in their hideout when police on information raided their hiding place and arrested them with weapons, looted valuables and cash.
