Petition against delay in Senate polls in KP fixed for hearing

PTI leader Azam Swati files petition in PHC

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A petition challenging the delay in holding Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been scheduled for hearing.

The petition was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati in the Peshawar High Court.

The hearing is set for tomorrow, with Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Waqar Ahmed presiding over the case.

In the petition, Swati argues that despite dates being set for the Senate elections, the process has been repeatedly postponed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
