KARACHI (Dunya News) – FIA Cybercrime Wing on Sunday busted a gang of fraudsters by arresting four its members, Dunya News reported.
The suspects stole money from the credit cards of foreigners, particularly the old ones, fraudulently.
They would first get information of their credit cards and hack them in order to steal their money.
The gang had set up a dubious company to run a network to deceive credit card holders with different fake schemes.
The FIA team seized electronic gadgets and computers from them who they used for their illegal activities. Further investigation was under way.
FOUR OUTLAWS APPREHENDED
Police arrested four suspects involved in street crimes and plundering valuables from citizens in separate incidents.
In Khawaja Nagri, police arrested two robbers after ‘encounter’. They were identified as Rehan and Ali Ahmad. They were injured in the shootout and later arrested.
In Shah Latif police jurisdiction, police tracked down two suspects involved in dozens of street crimes. Three stolen bikes and other valuables were recovered from them. They were identified as Kamran and Mujahid.
