LAHORE (Dunya News) - Police claimed to have arrested three more suspects involved in the murder of Javed Butt, brother-in-law of Khawaja Tarif Gulshan alias Tefi Butt.
According to police, Amir Hafeez, a facilitator involved in Javed Butt's murder, was arrested on the identification of the arrested shooters.
Police said he had removed the rickshaw and motorcycle of the shooters from the parking lot of Mayo Hospital.
The other two accused, Samar Gul and Shiraz Khan, were arrested from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They had sheltered the arrested shooters Azhar and Ilyas. According to police, absconding accused Arif sent Azhar and Ilyas to arms dealer Akram Khan who sent them to Samar and Shiraz in KP.
It is noted that the brother-in-law of Tefi Butt, main suspect in the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu, was shot dead and his wife injured in a gun attack in Ichrra, near Muslim Town underpass.
According to police, Muhammad Javaid Butt, his wife and a daughter were going somewhere by a car when they came under fire by four unidentified gunmen riding two motorcycles.
