LAHORE (PCB) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday held “Connection Camp” to set roadmap for accomplishing strategic goals.
The camp was attended by PCB's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer, white-ball coach Gary Kristen, red-ball coach Jason Gillespie, Babar Azam, Shan Masood, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub and other senior plans.
The camp aimed at enhancing communication, collaboration, and performance among players of the national team.
Following the meeting, Salman Naseer held a press conference along with the national teams’ coaches. He said the camp was held at the right time to discuss various matters.
“Everybody feels that there is dire need of improving the performance,” he said, adding that the camp provided a chance to brainstorm over the challenges being faced by the team and management.
Gary Kirsten termed the camp “brilliant” step, adding: “We spoke about supporting each other, and I believe we’ve largely achieved the purpose of this gathering. Everyone has shown real commitment to restore the pride of Pakistan cricket".
Gillespie also endorsed the Kristen’s statement while emphasising that there is a need for solidifying the bond within the team.
