ISLAMABAD (Dunya Naws) – The Islamabad High Court has barred authorities from arresting PTI leader Salman Akram Raja after he filed a petition challenging a potential arrest.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb presided over the case, where Raja’s lawyer informed the court that an attempt was made to arrest him in Lahore. Citing concerns about future attempts, the lawyer requested protective bail and sought details regarding the charges against him.
The judge halted Raja’s arrest within Islamabad’s jurisdiction and summoned records of all cases filed against him.
