ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Monday announced an increase in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), a day after petroleum prices were hiked.
Ogra has issued a notification in this regard, stating that LPG price had been increased by 13 paisas to Rs234.72 per kilogramme.
The price of 11.8kg cylinder was increased by Rs1.43, with new price fixing at Rs2,769.66 for July 2024.
Earlier, the government increased the price of petrol by Rs7.45 per litre and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs9.56 per litre for the next fortnight.
After the latest increase, the new price of petrol is fixed at Rs265.61 per litre while the HSD price is set at Rs277.45 per litre for the next 15 days.
The notification from the finance ministry said the price variations were worked out by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) based on figures of the international market.
The government also increased the price of light diesel oil by Rs9.88 per litre. The price of kerosene oil was increased by Rs10.5 per litre.
