The Income Tax General Order was issued by FBR on April 2024 to close SIMs of non-filers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A tax of 75 percent has been imposed on mobile internet and mobile cards for the people who are included in the Income Tax General Order.
The Income Tax General Order was issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on April 2024 to close SIMs of non-filers.
On the other hand, around 10 time of the number of smuggled items would be imposed as penalty to prevent smuggling and the smugglers could be imprisoned upto six years in jail and a fine of upto Rs1 million could be imposed.

According to the Finance Bill 2024-25, a directorate has been set up to prevent trade-based money laundering.
