Leaders of allied parties again seek Fazl's support in NA

The meeting was held at the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) again called on Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday.

The meeting was held at the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad during which the allied parties’ leaders sought JUI-F chief’s support for prime minister and speaker election in the National Assembly.

According to details, the delegation of the allied parties included Rana Sanaullah, Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq, Saad Rafiq, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sadiq Sanjrani, Khalid Magsi, Abdul Aleem Khan and Salik Hussain.

JUI-F leaders Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Haji Ghulam Ali, Aslam Ghori, Noor Alam Khan and Maulana Amanullah were also present in the meeting.

It should be noted that after taking oath in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced that his party would not participate in the election of speaker, prime minister and president, saying that this is not the Assembly, it is something else. We will not use the right to vote, he said.
