ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a significant political development, a delegation from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) visited Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), at his residence in Islamabad on Thursday evening.
The delegation comprising Asad Qaiser, Amir Dogar, Barrister Saif and Fazal Ahmed aimed to engage the JUI-F chief in discussions on apparent irregularities in recent elections, among other concerns.
Notably, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was absent from the delegation, despite earlier reports suggesting his participation.
According to sources, the delegates conveyed a message from the PTI founder to Fazl inviting him to join hands against evident rigging in the elections and to collaborate in the opposition.
