ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission (ECP) on Monday asked the Printing Corporation of Pakistan to print 250 million ballot papers for February 8 polls.
According to sources, the ECP approved printing of ballot papers for general elections in its meeting held today.
The ballot papers would bear its watermark.
Sources said that the ballot papers would be printed at three different machines. Strict security measures have been ordered of the Printing Corporation premises during the printing of the ballot papers, they added.
It may be recalled that watermarked ballot papers were first used in the country during 2018 general elections.

In anticipation of the upcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is all set to print approximately 250 million watermarked ballot papers.
