(Web Desk) - YouTuber Rosanna Pansino has apologised after facing "thousands of death threats" for criticising massively popular YouTube star MrBeast.
"I would like to apologise to MrBeast. I should have expressed my feelings privately and handled things directly.
I will be removing all of the posts where I talk about Creator Games and Jimmy," Pansino wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"I will be honest in that the thousands of death threats I've received today are a contributing factor," she continued.
"But I do also sincerely hear the feedback from so many of you."
Pansino claimed that she placed third in his 2021 "Extreme $1 Million Hide and Seek" video, which pitted influencers against each other in a 24-hour challenge, but was edited out so it appeared that Logan Paul, Larray and Zach King were the top three contestants.
"When the video was released I was shocked, disappointed and felt hurt," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "MrBeast ... had edited the video to make me look like I performed worse than I did.
This was extra upsetting because I genuinely believed him when he said that his videos are 'authentic and real.'"
