PKR gains another Rs1.02, 1.50 against dollar in interbank, open market

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistani rupee on Wednesday continued to appreciate against the US dollar during the opening hours of trading in both interbank and open market.
At 11:35am, the local currency was being traded at 284.50 with an increase of Rs1.02 in the interbank market and Rs1.50 in the open market.
On Tuesday, the rupee had appreciated 0.36pc to settle at 285.72.
The local unit has remarkably returned to its lowest level against the greenback. The rupee gained Rs22.40 against the dollar in interbank and Rs48.50 in open market in the last one month, thanks to ongoing crackdown against the US dollar hoarders.
