Another cut in petroleum prices expected

Ishaq Dar to announce the decision tonight

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has recommended decrease in petroleum prices for the next fortnight of June 2023. 

Sources said the regulatory body had recommended Rs5-10 decrease in per litre petrol price and Rs10 in diesel price. 

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to announce the new prices tonight and they will come into effect on June 16. 

In the past two weeks, the prices of Brent crude oil was recorded at $76.95 per barrel.
