Two-match Test series would be played in July this year

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has put the reports claiming that he would skip the Test series against Sri Lanka to rest by sharing a practice video.

A day earlier, reports emerged that the left-arm fast bowler might not participate in the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka as he would be given rest ahead of the ODI World Cup, which will be hosted by India in October and November 2023.

The Test series is scheduled to be played in July later this year as part of the ICC Test Championship.

Apparently dismissing the reports, Mr Afridi shared a video on Twitter, showing him practice with the red ball, used for longest format of cricket.
