LAHORE (Web Desk) - The shooting for the highly anticipated crime-thriller film Taxali has been completed and it is slated to be released around Eidul Azha this year. Written and directed by Abu Aleeha, the film features an ensemble cast of renowned actors, including Ayesha Omar, Yasir Hussain, Nayyer Ejaz, Iffat Omar, Iftikhar Thakur, Babar Ali, Umar Aalam, Sheheryar Cheema, and Mehar Bano, who plays the character of a young girl from Lahore.
In an interview, Mehar Bano shared that the working experience was fantastic and the film's release date is sooner than we think. The film's producer, Waqas Hasan Rizvi, also shared a picture with the cast members on Instagram, expressing his excitement for the film's release.
The director, Abu Aleeha, shared that Taxali will be screened at different film festivals around the world, leading to its worldwide release. He also added that the film not only showcases suspense and crime but also highlights the folk wisdom and humor of old Lahore.
