ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Qadir Mandokhail has criticised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said it should hand over the finance and interior ministries to coalition partners as the ministers have failed to run the ministries aptly.

Talking to a private news channel to Saturday night, Mandokhail that Ishaq Dar and Rana Sanaullah mishandled the deal with International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s arrest.

He was also critical of the Punjab IGP for his failure to arrest Imran and suggested punishment for him.

The PPP leader said that Maryam Nawaz had said it was not her government even though her uncle was the prime minister of the country.

Mandokhail castigated Dar for his statement about “not compromising on the country’s nuclear programme” in the Senate.

Demanding a probe against him, he said that the PPP would not compromise on the country’s nuclear and missile programmes.

About Sanaullah, he said he told the minister to handle the situation with extreme case. But he failed and the situation worsened.

Responding to a question on Nawaz Sharif’s return, Mandokhail said “it is better that he (Nawaz) is not coming back as the PPP is getting stronger.”

He also opposed a ban on the PTI and said we should fight instead of proscribing a political party.

He claimed that no action was taken against Miftah Ismail for talking against the government policies because he was a business partner of Shehbaz Sharif.
