PSB de-notifies PHF President, Secretary, Treasurer
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Thursday while declaring the presence of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, Secretary Asif Bajwa and Treasurer Muhammad Ikhlaq unconstitutional de-notified them from their posts.
According to a notification issued by the Sports Board, the four-year constitutional term of the Hockey Federation officials expired on May 14. While, after the resignation of Shahbaz Senior in 2019, Asif Bajwa was nominated as Secretary PHF.
It was added that the constitutional term of PHF officials expired two months ago and they could not hold elections. The failure to hold elections on time is a violation of the National Sports Policy 2005.
