Soldier martyred in North Waziristan IBO
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A soldier was martyred in an exchange of fire that took place between security forces and the terrorists , the military’s media affairs wing said on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in general area Mir Ali, North Waziristan District, on reported presence of terrorists.
During conduct of the operation, exchange of fire took place with the terrorists. Resultantly, Sepoy Waheed Khan (age 23 years, resident of Nowshera) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
