TCF launches new innovative 'play-based early childhood curriculum' in Pakistan

(Benjamin Kilmister-Bland) - The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a UK registered charity, that supports quality education to the under-privileged has launched a new innovative ‘play-based early childhood curriculum’ in Pakistan.

In this regard, the Citizens Foundation Trustee Imtiaz Dossa said that, “The programme aims to cultivate 21st century skills in children such as critical thinking, tolerance, and communication to build a strong foundation for success in adult life.”

He further appreciated the generous grant from Randal Charitable Foundation and expressed that it will enable 182 children from Kindergarten to Grade 5 to benefit from the said innovative. While the Randal Charitable Foundation is a global funding organization, with the objectives to save lives, help the socially disadvantaged and improve the quality of life around the world.

“We are delighted to be working with The Randal Charitable Foundation to provide less privileged children with the best start in life,” added Imtiaz Dossa.

He also mentioned that the grant will be used to train a female principal and seven school teachers as well. The all-female staff encourages parents to send their daughters to school.

TCF could be termed as Pakistan’s leading education charity as it raises funds, along with spreading awareness to support TCF’s education programmes.

TCF has set up schools in the rural and urban areas of Pakistan that offer quality education to those children who cannot afford to get themselves enrolled in an institution because of their poor living conditions.

The organization has been working on the agenda to provide up to mark educational opportunities for the poor since 1995.

TCF’s educational projects expand all over the world, as it has one of the largest networks of independently run low-cost schools around the planet. Furthermore, a unique initiative of the organization is that it has all female faculty consisting of 13,000 teachers and principals, which also makes TCF the largest private employer of women in Pakistan. Their vision is to break all stereotypes, differences and standards that divide the society by leaving the underprivileged out of the loop for better opportunities.

They make sure to provide needy with the right of a quality education and hope for their better future. Not just that, the vision expands to creating a chain of positivity in the Pakistani society and people and thus, urge them to become ‘the agents of positive change’.
