Rupee gains ground against US dollar, recovers by 27 paisa

The dollar closed at 204.85 rupees.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistani rupee continued to make gains against the US dollar in interbank on Thursday and recovered by 27 paisa.
According to details, the dollar closed at 204.85 rupees compared to the previous close of 205.12. In open market, the greenback was being traded at Rs205.
An inflow of $2.3 billion from a Chinese consortium of banks as well as progress on release of IMF tranche has helped ease the pressures on the rupee.
