11 die in Torghar district as heavy rain lashes parts of country

16 people got trapped under the rubble
TORGHAR (Dunya News) – 11 people were killed after three houses collapsed due to thunder strike as heavy downpour lashes the district.
According to details, 16 people got trapped under the rubble out of which 11 succumbed to their wounds while four other injured have been shifted to the hospital for first aid.
Three people are still missing after the downpour and rescue operation is underway to find them.
On the other hand, roof collapse in rural area of Abbottabad claimed lives of three people including a girl.
Lahore is also experiencing intermittent rain from last three day, inundating low lying areas and causing problems for residents and motorists.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain with wind thundershower in Islamabad, Upper and central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and lower Sindh.
Isolated heavy falls are also likely to occur in the areas during the next twelve hours.
