Three customs officials killed in firing of smugglers in DI Khan

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Three customs officials were killed during an exchange of fire with the smugglers in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday.

According to the reports, three customs officials were killed by the firing of smugglers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s district Dera Ismail Khan, however, the incident took place at Kalachi turn.

The police informed that two customs officials were martyred on the spot while another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

After getting information, the police teams reached at the spot and cordoned off the area.

On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan strongly condemned the firing on customs officials in Dera Ismail Khan.

The KP chief minister has expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of the customs officials in the incident, while praying for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and patience of the bereaved.
