MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – A 12-member delegation of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday has left for Muzaffarabad to visit the Line of Control (LoC) for monitoring of the on-ground situation. In a statement, the Foreign Office told, “During the visit, the IPHRC delegation will travel to Muzaffarabad and the Line of Control, and interact with the Kashmiri leadership, refugees from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and victims of Indian atrocities.” The delegation will also hold meeting with Azad Jammu and Kashmir president Masood Khan. The visit is coincided with the completion of two years of India’s illegal steps of August 5. On the other hand, Indian government has not allowed the OIC team to visit occupied Kashmir in a bid to hide the real facts and plight of the Kashmiris.
