Rain in Lahore, other parts of country turns weather pleasant

Light rain accompanied by cool wind in Lahore on Friday brought the mercury considerably down.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain accompanied by cool wind in Lahore on late Friday night turned the weather pleasant and brought the mercury considerably down, Dunya News reported.
Rain caused disruption of electricity in parts of Lahore as several feeders of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) tripped, plunging various parts of the city into darkness.
Rain was also reported in different other cities of country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Daska, Chiniot, Kasur and their adjoining areas.
According to Met Office, dust-thunderstorm-rain is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. However, hot weather is expected in other parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas.
