Zazai, Wells hit fifties to take Zalmi to PSL-6 final

Peshawar Zalmi will take on Multan Sultans on Thursday for the Pakistan Super League 2021 crown.
ABU DHABI (Dunya News) – Hazratullah Zazai and Jonathan Wells scored fifties as Peshawar Zalmi crushed Islamabad United by eight wickets in the Eliminator 2 to qualify for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 final at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Hazratullah Zazai and Jonathan Wells added 126 runs for the second wicket partnership to take Zalmi to PSL-6 final. Peshawar Zalmi will take on Multan Sultans on Thursday for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 crown.
Earlier, Islamabad United set 175 runs target for Peshawar Zalmi in the second and last qualifier of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
A sensational finish touches from Hasan Ali has propelled Islamabad United to a brilliant finish. He scored 45 runs off just 16 deliveries while Mohammad Wasim chipped in with 17 runs. Colin Munro contributed 44 runs to give Islamabad a good finish in the crucial fixture.
Skipper Wahab Riaz and Umaid Asif picked a couple of wickets each.
Peshawar Zalmi had won the toss and opted to field first against the Islamabad United.
Munro and Khawaja have been the best batsmen of Islamabad, whereas Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan are bowling well for them. Hazratullah Zazai is in top form for the Zalmi side, whereas Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Irfan have been their lead bowlers.
