Three arrested for demanding extortion money in Karachi

Arrested individuals were also involved in robberies, thefts and other crimes.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested three suspects for demanding Rs5 million as extortion money from son of a businessman.
According to SSP Investigation, suspects demanded extortion from son of businessman Afzal Seth and also opened fire at house of the victim to scare him.
A case under terrorism charges has been filed against the criminals and several weapons, cash and motorcycles have also been recovered from them.
SSP further said that the arrested individuals were also involved in robberies, thefts and other crimes.
