Karachi: MQM-London target killer arrested in attack on police van
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A target killer of MQM London has been arrested from Korangi Zaman Town area of Karachi. The accused, Muhammad Imran, was involved in the attack on a police van in Chakra Goth.
According to SSP CTD Arif Aziz, the accused’s target killing team includes Zaheer Funter, Kashif Cheetah and Faheem Matkewala. The target killers had opened fire on a police van in Chakra Goth resulting in the policemen in the van being martyred.
Imran further revealed that he also opened indiscriminate fire in PNT Colony Korangi, killing four persons. Imran, along with his accomplices, also killed a doctor near Rehman Town Korangi.
Imran has been arrested and jailed from different police stations in Karachi before. He has also confessed to murder, attempted murder, arson and extortion.
