Micro smart lockdown imposed in areas of Karachi's Central Districts

Micro smart lockdown was imposed in various areas of Gulberg, North Karachi and North Nazimabad.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Local government has imposed micro smart lockdown in three localities of Central District in Karachi on Wednesday in the wake of rising number of coronavirus cases, Dunya News reported.
According to the notification released today, various areas of Gulberg, North Karachi and North Nazimabad of Central District in Karachi have been placed under micro smart lockdown with an immediate effect until May 5.
All those entering and exiting the said areas will be required to wear face masks while the irrelevant people who have nothing to do in these areas will not be allowed to pass them.
Pillion riding on bikes is also banned in these areas considered the hotspots for the virus while all commercial activities, including retail business and industrial units, shall remain suspended in these areas.
The notification also said that assembling and gatherings will not be allowed in these areas as well. The notification said those who are tested Covid positive shall observe quarantine within their homes.
