38 violators of coronavirus SOPs arrested in Bahawalnagar

At least 45 cases were registered in Bahawalnagar over violation of coronavirus SOPs.

BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – The local administration has launched a crackdown against the violators of coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) in Bahawalnagar, Dunya News reported on Monday.

According to sources, at least 45 cases were registered in Bahawalnagar over violation of coronavirus SOPs while 38 persons were taken into custody from various parts of the city.

On the other hand, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Monday reported that the COVID-19 positivity ratio across the country has reached 11.20 percent.

According to details, highest positivity rate of the pandemic was recorded in Swat at 23 percent followed by Peshawar at 22 percent, Nowshera at 19 percent, Lahore at 17 percent and Islamabad at 16 percent.

Moreover, 15 percent tests returned positive in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi while positivity rate touched 12 percent in Malakand, Multan, Sargodha and Sialkot.
