LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid on Monday said that the province will implement whatever guidelines are issued by National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) regarding coronavirus.

Yasmin Rashid said that the government will establish four more vaccination centers in Lahore and home-vaccination service will also be provided to people who are unable to visit the centers.

She clarified that there is no shortage of coronavirus vaccine in the country and 6 million more doses will arrive in Pakistan in April.

Talking about Tuberculosis (TB) situation in country, the health minister said that unfortunately Pakistan is at fifth place out of 30 most affected countries by the disease. There are 153,000 patients of TB in only Punjab, she added.

She further said that TB can be cured if it is timely diagnosed and 93 percent patients make full recovery. Government of Punjab is providing free treatment and vaccination of TB in the province, she said.
