CM denies rumors regarding differences in party over Senate tickets

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan has vehemently denied rumors that some members of the Provincial Assembly are at odds with the party.

A statement issued by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that such rumors were baseless and had nothing to do with reality. All members of PTI stood by the party and will continue to do so.

Mahmood Khan said that PTI members are soldiers of Imran Khan, they cannot be bought. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a party of sincere and ideological workers. All the members were on the same page in the meeting with the Prime Minister yesterday, he added.

The Chief Minister said that all the MPAs have supported the decisions of the party leadership regarding the Senate tickets. Our members have an ideological affiliation with the party. We have complete unity in our ranks and will continue to do so.

He said that the opposition is confused adding there will be upset in the Senate elections. He alleged that opposition is trying to win Senate election with money. We are committed to transparency in elections, so we want to hold Senate elections through show of hands.
