Supreme Court directed lower court to pronounce judgment within a month

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has fixed February 8 for final arguments in the murder case of Orangi Pilot Project Director Parveen Rehman.

The murder case of Parveen Rehman was heard in the anti-terrorism court of Karachi. The accused Amjad Hussain, Ayaz, Rahim Swati and others were produced in the court.

During the hearing, the court fixed February 8 for the final arguments in the case. Plaintiff s counsel took the position that he had not received a copy from the Supreme Court regarding the disposal of the case within a month. The Supreme Court had recently directed the lower court to pronounce judgment in the case within a month.

It may be recalled that five accused were arrested in the Parveen Rehman murder case. The victim was killed in 2013.
