Wasim Khan pleased at return of international cricket to Pakistan
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan has said that he is very happy with the revival of international cricket in the country through the Pakistan-South Africa bilateral series.
Talking to media on Saturday, Wasim Khan said that holding a home series after domestic matches despite the pandemic would greatly enhance Pakistan’s reputation.
He said that so far, we have done a total of about 4,000 covid-19 tests and even during the Pak-SA series, all Covid-19 requirements and guidelines will be met.
Talking about the team’s recent performances, Wasim Khan said that criticism is always there. If the team loses, we are saddened like everyone else. We are doing all we can to improve on all fronts but it will take some time.
The PCB CEO said that issues with PSL franchisors are also being resolved. He said that here was no issue of authority between him and the board chairman.
