South Africa team reach Pakistan after thirteen years

South Africa will play two-match Test and three-match T20I series in Pakistan.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – South Africa cricket team have on Saturday reached Pakistan after thirteen years and three months to play two-match Test and three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series.

The 38-member unit landed at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi via chartered plane and will remain under quarantine at a local hotel following coronavirus tests. The players will be allowed to train after returning negative tests.

Foolproof security arrangements at the airport and on the Shahrah-e-Faisal were ensured upon the arrival of the Proteas. Pakistan players will move to bio secure bubble on January 19. The first Test will be played at the National Stadium Karachi from January 26.
