Imran Khan made Quetta sit-in issue of ego: Ahsan Iqbal
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan made Quetta sit-in an issue of his ego, nation has seen his face.
According to details, meeting of the parliamentary board of PML-N was held in Model Town. PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed party candidates for the by-elections and the proposals formulated in the meeting will be sent to former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif for final approval.
Talking to media after the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Quetta has no importance after his statement regarding the protesters of sit-in, he should drown in shame. The whole nation has seen his face, he added.
He said that when the Prime Minister of New Zealand went to the mosque, was there any blackmailing. “Imran Khan this is not blackmailing but sympathy”, he said. For six days, the people of Hazara protested in minus 8 degrees.
He further said that in 2018, at the request of the Hazara community, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa meet with the protesters of Hazara Community and sympathized with the bereaved families.
"What are we going to ask of the one who is sitting on NRO," he said. Imran s case has not been decided for six years but it took only one year in the case against Nawaz Sharif.
The former interior minister said that the long march in 2014 was due to Imran Khan s conspiracy and foreign funding. That is why the foreign funding case is not being decided.
The money came from the Israeli lobby. In the foreign funding case Imran Khan was given the mother of all NRO’s. If the case is decided, his middle wicket will be lost, so the foreign funding case is not being decided.
